Don't drive to test your eyesight!
You may have seen a recent interview with a government official regarding driving and vision. I, along with fellow optometrists, advise that you don't take a drive to test your eyesight. Any motorists concerned about their vision should get in touch with their optometrist before driving a car or vehicle.
Sight loss can be gradual and sometimes go unnoticed, so if you're a driver and have concerns about your vision, while routine sight tests are currently suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic, Brian Clark Opticians can offer advice over the phone and carry out essential eyecare if needed.
